Arete Featured on The Banner Press
Jake and Chad helping to ensure Brenham’s housing future through quality builds and affordable rentals.
Brenham’s Banner Press has been a local source of news for over 100 years, with a history reaching back to 1877. Many in Washington County, TX have been reading The Banner Press their whole life.
Sarah Forsythe interviewed Arete’s Jake Carlile and Chad Bolcerek about their quest to create affordable housing that is not low-income housing, but rather housing the average person can afford and enjoy.
“Carlile, Bolcerek and their team are looking to build what the city of Brenham refers to as “the missing middle,” they said. Their goal is to create more housing, whether more affordable rental housing than what the market has currently or through affordable real estate for sale, Carlile said.”
